Using the North American Precision Lightning Network (NAPLN) and the WolrWide Lightning Network (WWLN), lightning discharges are depicted graphically. The networks include cloud-to-ground as well as in-cloud, cloud-to-cloud and cloud-to-air discharges.
Lightning maps include all lightning strikes over the past 10 minute period.
