ICAO Flight Plan Information

For pilots who frequently file ICAO flight plans, this window allows you to enter default values for the wake turbulence category and some basic equipment associated with a particular aircraft.

To edit an existing aircraft model:

    1. Click Edit > Default Aircraft.

    2. Select an aircraft from the list given, and click Edit.

    3. Select the ICAO Flight Plan Information tab in the Edit Aircraft Model or the Edit Default Aircraft Model dialog box.

Selecting an option indicates that you carry that item aboard. The completed flight plan will reflect the correct ICAO format.

NOTE To set the flight level altitude, DCT and RMK/IFPS in the ICAO Flight plan, click Tools > Options, and the click the Routing tab. Information about other ICAO Setting options is available in the Basic Aircraft Data and Reduced Vertical Separation Minimum (RVSM) topics.
