Introductory WX Slideshow	The Flash slideshow that opens when v.9.5 is first installed may not run on systems where the Flash Player is not installed or is older than v.10. Go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ to install the latest Flash Player.
UpdatePack JV Text	The UpdatePack does not update the JeppView text style sheets. For JeppView and FliteDeck updates, use the online UpdateClient or Electronics Chart Data CDs.
User-Defined Winds	User-defined winds do not override the live weather winds in flight planning.

Alternates and Ramp Fuel	When a route is planned with an alternate, and then you replan the route or add a new route to the same RoutePack, ramp fuel in the replan or second route may not be reset to the aircraft default. Check the ramp fuel value and reset it, or start a new RoutePack.

Garmin 396	Added support for RoutePack transfer to and from Garmin 396, firmware version 4.70.
RNAV Procedures	RNAV SIDs and STARs are now labeled in the selection lists as "RNAV-[procedure name].

Aircraft Model Edits	Changes made on the ICAO Flight Plan Information tab are now kept.
Contingency Fuel	Fuel planning now computes contingency fuel below 10%. Time was also corrected to match the fuel amount.
CSC NOTAMs	Fixed the text weather to show and sort all CSC NOTAMs by keyword.
FMS Export	VFR Reporting points are now identified as user-defined waypoints in exported text files (Bendix-King)
Fuel at Alternate	Incorrect filtering in alternate searches for remaining fuel is fixed.
Fuel and STARs	Incorrect fuel calculations with STARs has been corrected.
Fuel Reserves	Default reserve amounts for IFR and Night VFR have been corrected to 45 minutes.
Multi-leg Routing	Successive legs of a route planned with fuel stops now retain the selections for flight rules, times, etc.
Report Formatting	Text that was truncated or overlapping has been reformatted to fit within the appropriate field.
Route Calculator	The date and Zulu time calculations have been fixed.
RVSM and VFR Altitude	Corrected some RVSM routing issues, including a conflict with VFR altitude planning.
User-Defined Waypoints	Routes with user-defined waypoints now display original labels on all computers, and fuel and altitudes are calculated correctly.

New Features and Improvements
Microsoft Windows Vista	The release of version 9.4 incorporates two changes: Settings previously stored in the FliteStar.ini file are placed in the registry during installation or moved to the registry during an update. The 9.4 installer places files in directories compatible with the Microsoft Windows Vista file directory structure. If you have already installed FliteStar on Windows XP and 2000, you will not see any change to file locations. If you are a current Windows XP or Windows 2000 user migrating to Microsoft Vista and would like to know where common files will be stored, see Microsoft Windows Vista Compatibility Mode and Microsoft Windows Vista Folders.

Importing Aircraft Models	Fixed the Aircraft Model Import function.
Aircraft Model	Updated the aircraft model data for the Cirrus SR-22 and the EADS Socata TBM 700.
CSC DUATS Settings	Received response from CSC DUATS indicating that port 23 is still the preferred connection port to use when connecting to their service.
FIR/UIR Crossings	Fixed a fatal error when there were multiple boundaries close together after attempting to build an airway route in the RoutePack Wizard with the Mark FIR/UIR Boundary Crossings check box selected.

DTC Weather Image Overlay	Code change to accept new DTC image format change for NEXRAD and satellite overlays.

New Features and Improvements
Jeppesen Weather	Improved the Jeppesen Weather Graphics Selection dialog box and the Jeppesen Weather downloads and overlays. See Jeppesen Weather Graphics and Overlays for additional information.
Reset List Windows	Added View > Reset List Windows to place the list windows (Airport List and RoutePack List) in the default location with the default size, as well as place the enroute chart at the default location. See Arranging List Windows and Toolbars.

Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs)	Fixed a problem where some TFRs were not displaying correctly.
Airport Information	Fixed the issue with the stand-alone version of FliteStar (no JeppView) where the Airport Information check box was missing from the Trip Kit Printing dialog box. See FliteStar Trip Kits.
Load Manifest Report	Fixed the Load Manifest report where it truncated if there were too many lines of information under the Dry Operating Mass section.
Quick Quote Report	Fixed the Quick Quote report where it was no longer displaying any items in the summary of charges.
NavLog Report	Fixed an issue where the notes at the bottom of the NavLog would no longer be readable after switching Views in FliteStar.
CSC DUATS	The default CSC DUATS port setting for new download setups has changed from port 23 to 80. See Using a Broadband Connection.
DTC DUAT Overlays	Fixed DTC Nexrad radar images that were not overlaying on the enroute chart.
Winds Aloft	Fixed an issue where winds downloaded from CSC DUATS and DTC DUAT displayed incorrect direction and speed at FL43 and FL53 in the Optimize Altitude dialog box.
Weather Animation	Fixed a crash that occurred while clicking in the Profile View while the weather animation was on.
Fuel calculations after weather download	Fixed an issue noticeable in the Optimize Altitude dialog box where FliteStar failed to recognize winds aloft at certain altitudes resulting in incorrect fuel calculations.
Fuel Limitations	The fuel limitation of 50,000 units has been removed from the Fuel Capacity field in the Basic Info tab of the Aircraft Model dialog box.
JITEDocsController.dll	Fixed the issue that caused the error message "Failed to initialize JITEDocsController.dll" to appear when FliteStar launched. This was caused when a demo version of JeppView was installed.

In the following table, changes with the word JeppView are only seen or enabled when JeppView version 3.5 is also installed with NavSuite, or on the same drive as FliteStar.

New Features and Improvements
JeppView: European VFR Charts	Added European VFR Charts (Bottlang charts). The visual approach charts cover 2,100 airports and aerodromes in 29 European countries. Customers are given the option of ordering VFR coverages by country or by geographic regions. You may choose between services that offer only VFR charts, only IFR charts, or both VFR and IFR. Call Jeppesen Customer Service if you are interested in a subscription.
JeppView: Printing Options	An additional printing option has been added to the Printing tab when clicking Tools > Options. This new option allows you to print large European VFR area charts on multiple pages. Recommended Topic: Printing Options
JeppView: Text Information	Text pages are now provided in XML format rather than PDF which makes searching and accessing both IFR and VFR information much easier. Pilots can search keywords, bookmark pages, zoom and scroll to quickly find text-based information. If you have a European VFR subscription, the text for the Bottlang Airfield Manual becomes available. Recommended Topic: Viewing Text Pages.
JeppView: Favorite Airports	Modified the Favorite Airport column in the Airport List where you can select your favorite airports and click on the column header to bundle them together or use the filter to hide the airports not selected as a favorite. Recommended Topic: Favorite Airports.
JeppView: Terminal Chart Filters	Moved the terminal chart check boxes that were previously in the Airport List window to the Filter button in the Airport List window. Recommended Topic: Terminal Chart Filters.

ICAO Flight Plan	Fixed a program crash when selecting File ICAO Flight Plan from the Weather tab without a selected RoutePack.
Reverse Route	Fixed incorrect sequencing of waypoints on Flight Plan with a reverse route. The airway segments did not sequence properly where the airway listed did not correspond with the preceding VOR.
Reverse Route	Fixed a crash that occurred when attempting to reverse a route that had a SID or STAR attached.

Airport Weather	When weather is not available for an airport, the Weather tab in the Airports properties will now be hidden to alleviate confusion.
Printing Enroute Charts	Fixed an issue that printed black tiles with the enroute chart when all the weather products were not yet downloaded.
Airway Manual Stylesheets	Updated new stylesheets for the Airway Manual text.
Application Launch Time	Decreased the time it takes to open the application.
FIR/UIR Routing	Fixed an auto-routing problem when avoiding FIR/UIR. A message will now appear as to why the application is unable to create a route when certain route-around options are selected.
NavLog Crash	Fixed a found crash when viewing the NavLog with a route that contains a waypoint at the International Date Line.
Preferred Routes	Fixed a crash when replanning a saved route using preferred routes.
Arrow Keys	Fixed a problem where the arrow keys were no longer scrolling the enroute chart.
Unloading RoutePacks	Fixed a problem where a delay occurred or an application deadlock was being seen when unloading more than one RoutePack.
